Rigid-core LVP planks are waterproof, which makes them a strong choice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. Proper subfloor prep and transitions still matter.
What wear layer should I choose?
For busy homes and rentals we recommend a 20-mil or thicker wear layer; lighter-use rooms can use thinner products.
Can LVP go over my existing floor?
Often, yes, if the existing floor is flat and secure. We check flatness and recommend leveling where needed.
