All Services are subject to a detailed written estimate or contract, which will outline the scope of work, materials, timeline, and specific terms for your project.

3. Estimates and Pricing

  • Free Estimates: We offer free, no-obligation estimates for our services. These estimates are based on the information provided and a visual inspection of the project site.
  • Accuracy of Estimates: While we strive for accuracy, estimates are subject to change if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project (e.g., subfloor damage, hidden moisture issues) or if the client requests changes to the original scope of work. Any changes will be communicated and approved by the client in writing before proceeding.
  • Pricing: Final pricing will be detailed in a formal contract or invoice. All prices are in USD.

4. Payment Terms

  • Deposit: A deposit, typically 30-50% of the total project cost, may be required before commencement of work to cover material costs and secure scheduling. This will be specified in your contract.
  • Progress Payments: For larger projects, progress payments may be scheduled at key milestones.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion of the project.
  • Late Payments: Payments not received by the due date may incur late fees as specified in the contract.
  • Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, which will be outlined in your invoice.

5. Project Timelines and Scheduling

  • Estimated Timelines: Project timelines provided are estimates. While we endeavor to complete projects within the agreed timeframe, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., material availability, weather conditions, client-requested changes).
  • Scheduling: All project scheduling will be mutually agreed upon. We request clients to ensure the work area is clear and accessible on the scheduled dates.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Site Preparation: Clients are responsible for clearing the work area of furniture, personal belongings, and fragile items unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract.
  • Subfloor Condition: While we inspect subfloors, clients are responsible for informing us of any known issues (e.g., moisture problems, structural damage) that may affect the flooring installation. Additional costs may apply for remediation of unforeseen subfloor issues.
  • Access to Utilities: Clients must provide access to necessary utilities (e.g., electricity, water) during the project.
  • Decision Making: Timely decisions regarding material choices, stain colors, and other project details are crucial to avoid delays.
